COUNTRY MUSIC HONOURS
Featuring guest artist Suzanne Prentice.
The Country Music Honours celebrate and elevate the very best in original country music. The Honours include award presentations and finalist performances of the top 10 unreleased songs in the 2024 MLT Songwriting Award and the year’s top recorded songs vying for the coveted award of APRA AMCOS Best Country Music Song (past winners include Tami Neilson, Delaney Davidson and Matt Joe Gow).
The 2024 Honours will also feature a special guest appearance from household name and life-long country music icon; Suzanne Prentice. Suzanne is described as a performer with diamond sophistication and has sung her way from Invercargill to Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry stage.
A glamorous night starting with complimentary drinks and nibbles in the theatre foyer, audience members will get the chance to watch the award finalists walk the red carpet before the entertainment begins. Join us to celebrate Aotearoa New Zealand’s brightest country music stars with a feast of performances and unforgettable award moments.
